Carrie got me a "get well rose" from Giant when she was picking up my meds :)...I couldn't ask for a more wonderful and selfless wife!

The Day of Surgery

Today I go into surgery to repair my ruptured Achilles Tendon on my left leg. I tore it playing flag football last week and it felt like someone kicked me as hard as they could right behind my ankle. After surgery I will have to be in bed with my leg elevated above my heart for 2 weeks straight....I can't wait. Below are some before surgery shots at my leg and the awesome discoloration from the swelling :)
